When we say "great outdoors," we mean great.

Good Morning America named this area one of the "Top 10 Most Beautiful Places in America," but there's more to do in Destin, Ft. Walton Beach and Okaloosa Island than check out the scenery. Whether you want to golf, fish, go boating, enjoy water sports, bird watch in the park with other ecotourists, go geocaching, or just build a sand castle with the kids, you'll find what you're looking for here.

Nature & Parks

Nature lovers flock to the beaches, waters and parks of the Emerald Coast every year to go bird watching, hiking and dolphin watching (and, if you come during the fall, you’ll find the beach dotted with colorful wildflowers). Nearly 60 percent of the beach in this area is preserved in perpetuity. Come see why it’s worth protecting.
