The Destin Snowbird Club will hold registration and the Club meetings at "The Roost" at the Destin Community Center, 101 Stahlman Drive, Destin FL. Dues are $8 per year. The club's "Big Registration" is 10am-Noon Jan.3 and a second Jan.18.Regular registration is 1pm-3pm, Nov.28, Dec.5,12;Jan.9,16 and 23 and Feb.6. The club will participate in the Destin Christmas Parade Dec.10 and will host a Christmas party Dec.14 at the Pelican Beach Conference Center.

The City of Fort Walton Beach Heritage Park & Cultural Center announces its “First Call” to all potters and ceramic artists who would like to participate in the fourth annual pottery exposition event titled Fire and Earth: 2012 Coastal Pottery Expo. The event is scheduled on Saturday, April 21st, 2012 from 10:00am to 4:00 pm on the grounds of Heritage Park and Cultural Center. Non-refundable booth fees for artists are $40.00 per 10 ft. X 10 ft., space is limited. Artists must provide their own tables and tents if they wish to have them. Artists interested in participating can stop by the Indian Temple Mound Museum or Full Circle Art Gallery in Fort Walton Beach and pick up an application, or call/email to have an application faxed, mailed or emailed. The Indian Temple Mound Museum is open from 10:00am to 4:30pm Mon - Sat, and Full Circle Gallery is open Mon - Sat from 10:30am to 5:00pm. Applications must be postmarked by April 7th.
